Using TTF and barcode soft fonts for specific codepages
When using a TTF (True Type Font) or a barcode soft font in InterForm400 you might have a problem where it seems, that the auto download information does not seem to be used.
When you have such a situation you should focus on the auto download setup in InterForm400.
Generally you should have *ALLPCL for the output queues for the PCL printer group and for barcode soft fonts you should make sure, that you have activated the barcode for all code pages.
For TTF support you can use the table below to find what ASCII code page to use for a specific EBCDIC code page:
If you e.g. have made a TTF setup, that works fine for code page 285 (British non-euro codepage) and then change the codepage for the merges into 1146, then you will need to install the TTF for ASCII codepage858 and set that up as well in auto download.
If you forget that, the TTF will not be used for PCL output.
