Test License code PTFs.

If you are running an InterForm400 2007 version or newer, then a PTF might be required before you can use test license codes. We have created PTFs for later versions of InterForm400 which enables the use of test codes on these InterForm400 versions:

PTF number 3799 - Version 2009.M501 -2009.M508
PTF number 3791 - Version 2009.M01 -2009.M09
PTF number 3793 - Version 2008.M501 -2008.M526
PTF number 3666 - Version 2008.M01 -2008.M20
PTF number 3494 - Version 2007.M01 -2007.M09

The PTFs are installed as described below:

• Download and unzip the file from the link above.
• Place the unzipped file in the IFS in '/APF3812Home/PTFs'.
• Then select this in InterForm400:
• 12. Service functions
• 50. Apply PTF from the /APF3812Home/PTFs directory
• Type the PTF number and press followed by F10 to confirm the installation.

If you (or a customer) are running any of these versions then please make sure that the relevant PTF is installed. If the installation is already running on a test code, then obviously the necessary PTF is already installed now.

If you are running version 2009M10, any version in the interval 2009M509-2009M521 or any 2010 version, then no PTF is required.

If you want to verify if the PTF is installed, you can check what PTFs, that are installed with this command:

WRKOBJ OBJ(APF3812/APFPTF*) OBJTYPE(*DTAARA)

This will list one object for each PTF, that is installed. It will e.g. include the object: APFPTF3791, if you have installed the required PTF for a version in the interval: 2009M01-2009M09.
